I'm new to iGoogle, but a lot of what I would like to upload into my Docs, is .pdf format.
Is it still impossible to upload .pdfs to Google Docs?

Inappropriate?This is a real shame. I'm a bit fan of Google and would like to use both Google docs and Google sites but without the functionality of being able to upload jpegs and PDFs I will need to look at alternative sites. Unfortunate because you lose the cohesiveness of everything being grouped under one organisation.
