Left tabs as an option -- good! Mandated left tabs -- BAD!

In general I like the changes to iGoogle. I like everything about the left tabs except their location. If they were back across the top as they were originally and offered dynamic drop down menus, we would be using space much more effectively. I don't find the changes jarring as suggested in the tour. I do find them jamming...as in jammed-up. Left tabs as an option -- good! Mandated left tabs -- BAD!
