NATIVE Linux Picasa -- WHEN?
yes, I know there is WINE-ed Picasa, but it sucks for numerous reasons -- starting from robustness to stability to portability on non-x86 archs
so WHEN we will see true Linux Picasa ?

Inappropriate?Hmm, I know the question is old but Im currently running a native Picasa client. It works quite well to, nothing Ive tried so far has failed. I even think I ran the same native client last time I tried Picasa about half a year ago. Find it here.

Inappropriate?what you refer to is WINE-wrapped still-Windows application - it had been noted to make weird spurious behaviour (like yet another directory rescan all of sudden never ends, etc). But this is _not_ the most important thing... Deep true reason is that once (if ever) they make it for Linux, porting it to non-x86 architectures or adapting for yet another Linux flavour wont be a problem anymore... But they don't care - it is _not_ on their plans or radar.
I’m silly

I see... Google managed to fool me then, I thought it was native.
