Page Load Error - Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.google.com.
Cannot access gmail via firefox. Had some malware issues which I think I have solved. I've cleaned history. I've flushed DNS. I've pinged google.com and followed all the advice I have read in forums about this issue. Still have the same problem. Even tried reinstalling firefox.
I've added the sites to 'Trusted Sites'
"Page Load Error" "Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.google.com."
Any ideas, its driving me crazy...

Inappropriate?I'm also having the same problem- I've cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox AND Internet Explorer. My ping report says

Inappropriate?Ahhhh. Found the issue. Corrupted Registry Keys.
Spoke to my cuz who's an expert and he suggested to download winsoc XP.
It has managed to fix the problem.
Yay, after two weeks of scratching my head, problem solved.
Free download winsoc.
