Previously working Picasa image links now show up as missing on Blogger blogs

Articles posted to Blogger with remote blogging clients (for example Blogo) which posted images using the "media-edit" link now have all of their images "missing".

Blogo now uses the correct media:content section of the response, however there are still innumerable images which were posted with previous versions and which are now broken due to the change in what was previously a working URL.

Many users have been affected by this, and their blogs are now completely wrecked, the only solution being to manually track down and replace all of the image URLs in every single post.

Please, please fix this to serve the image data for normal GET requests to the media-edit URLs.
