What Gmail filters do you recommend for enhanced productivity?
I know people who gain huge personal efficiency and personal happiness by simply adding some nifty filters to their gmail. For instance, setting a filter to highlight only the messages that are addressed only to you. Other ideas?

Inappropriate?As a software engineer, about three quarters of the email I get is from various automated systems, sending event reports. Most of these I'm uninterested in. Thus I've got a slew of filters to route these reports directly to the trash.
One might consider doing the same thing to emails from that coworker one doesn't work directly with, but who likes to send chain-email jokes around the office.

Do this: Apply label "to me"
I filter emails that are addressed to me or where I am cc-ed with a label called "to me". That way I spend less time looking at emails form mailing lists.
Only 1 in 5 emails I get are addresses to me ....
