What is Googles target to reduce its own emissions? Although Google scores well on its climate advocacy and CEO Eric Schmidt can articulate one of the most advanced corporate visions for long-term development of the renewable energy economy; Google's position as a climate leader is considerably undermined, as it is one of the very few leading technology companies not to disclose its own greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. If we are to have confidence that Google actually cares for the environment it needs to be more transparent , disclose its own emissions and set some targets for reductions.
