Why do all Google powered sites like Blogger and all Google Ads think I am in Austria?
When I go to Blogger the top navigation is in German. I am in France and I want everything in English. It is my declared preference in all browsers.
All Google powered ads are also showing in German. Rendering them totaly useless. Someone is paying for ads I will never read.
Can't you take language and location information from accounts and browser?
If I don't force it to do otherwise, entering Google.com in serach bar will bring up Google.AT
This is such a waste of my time.

Inappropriate?The YouTube thread on language detection is huge and goes on over months. Why not just use the declared preference in the browser? Any newbie's setting will probably be correct. Why try to outsmart the system and lose with a wrong result?
