why does signing out of gmail crash windows explorer?
Hello, I know practically nothing about computers, but my windows explorer keeps closing - with the "send info" "don't send" box - every time I sign out of gmail. Is this a virus related thing or just a hiccup. Any help would be gratefully received.

Inappropriate?I have no definite idea, but I can help by telling you what it's not. It doesn't sound like something a virus or other malicious program would do.
It could be a script conflict: A script is something that a site (in this case, mail.google.com) can tell your browser (such as Internet Explorer) to do. For some reason, your Windows Explorer (the program at the heart of Windows) has a problem with the script, causing an error.
If it's really bugging you, you could download and test another web browser and see if that solves the problem. For example, if you're using Internet Explorer, you might try Firefox or Opera for a while instead.
I’m hopefully helpful
