why is google not using it's power to help stop climate change?

Given the huge amount of clout that google has and they way they are striving to develop the digital future, why are they not using some of the company power to make a positive stance against climate change like Apple have recently done?

Is google anti climate change or do they plan to challenge apple as a green IT company and to really get behind the climate change campaign?
