Google is generally awesome!

You know what? This surprises me but I gotta say: I really like the iGoogle homepage. I selected the beach skin. Took awhile but I finally noticed: the sun moves from East to West and the color palette subtly changes to match the time of day. I like this! I have no issue with the left pane menu like others do. The widgets I am using all work. I can easily get to other pages for sending emails, then come back to Home, still signed in. No compaints! Very cool and much improved user interface. Good job!
