Show when an RSS feed points to a dead URL.
One of my feeds recently changed from www.domain.com/rss to rss.domain.com and I didn't know until I checked MANUALLY on the site why I stoped seeing new items in Reader.
That would be great if we can see in Google Reader an indicator that the link is dead instead of having to wonder why Reader stopped updating the feed.

Inappropriate?Have you tried the "Inactive" tab on our Trends page (http://www.google.com/reader/view/#tr...). It shows you feeds which haven't updated in a while, which would let you spot such dead URLs.

Thanks for your answer.
Haven't checked this page in a while... apparently I have some abandoned feeds on my list, but they are still "alive".
Trends are for the long run... What about a frequently updated feed which just died? As in a 404 not gonna be back way.
