I have not been able to find any general documentation on your site as to how the various features of goplan work. Can you please direct me to where I might find that information?

Ah, documentation. Unfortunately we don't have "documentation" in the true sense of the word, because we felt that the learning curve was easy. However, if your goal is to figure out if Goplan is a good solution for you, you may achieve the same goal using the demo account, which is fully functional. You just have to visit goplan.info and use the demo credentials below:
Email: demo@goplan.org
Password: demodemo
I know this is no substitute for documentation, though, so please do let us know if you find that documentation is necessary, and where it would be most important. Thank you very much!

Fred, here's an example of a feature not at all obvious that should be documented, otherwise how are users to know it even exists, and I'm still unclear as to HOW to use it, subject to a reply from Socrates! -
