What are your thoughts on our roadmap?
We've just launched our roadmap for Goplan 2, the version of Goplan we're working on right now. What do you think about some of our proposals? We're mainly wondering about what you think about our thinking of removing project blogs and moving the real-time chat to a separate product in the future.
We know that removing things from a product (even if it is to improve the user experience) is a tricky point, so we definitely want to hear your thoughts on it. Thanks guys!

Inappropriate?the roadmap looks nice; i have no problem with removing the features you mentioned...
we never used the realtime chat (though it might be useful to have a possibility to note what was said when; import of im/mail-transcript maybe?) and the blog is nice to have but not a real key-feature.

Inappropriate?Honestly, would prefer to have the chat feature. But at this point, you guys are so far behind promises, I will take anything as a sign of life. Just release something.

Inappropriate?Neither of those items (chat or blog) are what's drawing me to goplan. I'm awaiting version 2 to switch from basecamp to goplan basically, so I just want to see it launch ASAP.

Inappropriate?I think the new road-map sounds great! Although I'm sure some users make use of them, the two features you plan to drop are imo just bloat, anyhow.
I can imagine removing those features (and possibly filling them with other new features ;)...) won't cause your loyal customers to stutter.
Also, the company/team management features you mention are the bees knees. :)
Cant wait to see GoPlan 2 up and running! -

Inappropriate?Are you planning on keeping the Roadmap updated? I noticed it says "Last Updated" next to each section.
It says you took inspiration from Vimeo's roadmap (it is nice I agree), but theirs is a lot more comprehensive with images, videos, and a % complete status for each. This kind of info would be great and you'd get more feedback too.

We are, we are planning on keeping it updated ;-)! We'll add more information and percentages, then - we do understand that it is interesting information for you guys. We're also starting a series of blog posts with a few sneak peaks on some of these things in greater detail - there's one on the blog right now. Hope this helps! -
