Add community forum link to the Gowalla home page
Please put a link to the Gowalla forum on your home page-- e.g., in the top right corner along with Blog/Download/Settings/Sign Out. I'm honestly not even sure how I found the forum in the first place-- I think as a result through a Google search on a Gowalla-related question-- but I'm *so* glad now that I have. This is a terrific place to build up the Gowalla community-- be proud of it and link to it on gowalla.com!

Inappropriate?Hey, look at that! But actually, I don't know if I've ever noticed that before-- and if I have, I would have assumed it would have gone to an e-mail form submit. "Feedback" usually indicates 1x1 interaction, and I hate bugging companies with questions I'm sure they've already answered a billion times, which is why forums are so great (also Google).
If I remember correctly, I think what led me to the forum was a G. search on whether it was possible to create a spot via the website. I wasn't necessarily hankering for that particular web feature, just looking for alternatives while I wait for the Android app to be released (:
Gowalla has a terrific product. I'm usually much more of an observer than a participant, but I just really love what these guys doing and want to contribute however I can.
I’m feeling like a nutty gowallavangelist

There is no way to add a spot via the site, dont know if there ever will be as its kinda supposed to be all about going out and discovering places.
As for andriod, no app at the moment, but there is a mobile site at m.gowalla.com you can use for checkins, sadly you cant add spots or even drop items on it at the moment. But i'm pretty sure they're working their hardest to bring these features to as many platforms as they can to get more people on board. -
Inappropriate?oh, I know, I put up an "early thoughts" sort of review of the mobile web version up today. I don't care all that much about the Items feature yet... and I know the mobile web version's lacking in functionality compared to what you iPhoners have, but honestly, I'm just grateful they released it. I've been dying for a chance to play with Gowalla ever since I found out about it a month ago.

actually, can I rescind my statement that I don't care about the Items feature? My interpretation of how to play Gowalla was all kinds of wrong... now I'm definitely looking forward to Item drop/pick-up implementation! -
Inappropriate?Hey — Just wanted to thank you for your feedback. Yes, the Feedback tab gets you back here — and we certainly appreciate your kind words and thoughts!
