Inappropriate?Good question! Once an item is in your vault, it's there for good. No plans right now to change that.

Inappropriate?having the ability to unvault items would make gowalla soooo much more fun for us collectors. i can haz? pretty please?

Inappropriate?A feature like this (on he website) would be good.. Ended up putting an Item in the Vault which I already had, but would rather drop it somewhere for someone else to pick it up for their collection as I won't have any use for it.

Inappropriate?I didn't realise that you could "double vault" stuff. That probably shouldn't happen, should it?

Inappropriate?Yes, I am pretty upset about this. Being OCD, this is a MAJOR turn off for me.

Inappropriate?I would like to get items out from the Vault. These function is essential and must be installed.

Inappropriate? If you guys aren't going to implement unvault, I think this might be a compromise:
1) Stack duplicates in the vault, like in Pack Rat. Lowest number is shown on top, with an overlay on the corner indicating the number of duplicates. I think Pack Rat handles this well.
2) Refuse a pop up. Part of the reason I'm tempted to vault a duplicate is when my pack gets full and I'm not in position to found some new spots. If I'm trying to get a specific item, or just want to refuse a very common item, I think that would reduce the temptation to vault.
As it stands right now, if I find a lower numbered item than I have, I just let it go. If I could vault duplicates without it *looking* like I've vaulted duplicates, that would really be nice.

Martijn: In certain places, they've said they do not have plans to implement this, but in other areas (specifically their blog), they say they have it on their list. Not sure which is more accurate, but I think it's fair for us to lobby for making unvaulting happen. -
The recent sounds, also directly from them, are different as far as I know. -
Yeah, I've read both directions. I'm just trying to propose a compromise that could very easily be implemented in addition to unvaulting. What I proposed wouldn't prohibit unvaulting, and would probably alleviate some of the problems in the short term (specifically the stacking idea, it's a UI change and not a data change). -
Inappropriate?I don't so much need to unvault, but maybe a warning before vaulting a duplicate. Same thing is needed in Pack Rat.
