Since not everybody can add URLs or Twitter addresses to spots, I thought it would be a good idea to take requests here (sort of like the ongoing merge/delete request thread).

I have been all over Twitter today trying to find appropriate Twits corresponding to their spots. Obviously, some spots wouldn't need, nor have, a Twitter account, but there are several places that would benefit greatly from having their accounts added to their Gowalla pages.

I have been doing the same! LOL! I even hit Twitter's search max for a bit, waited, and then continued on! -
Twitter's search function is a bit limiting for my tastes. It's faster to just try the name you'd think they'd list themselves as. As it happens, there are several spam/nothing accounts that have grabbed up company names. Why, I'll never know.
Also if you perform a Google search with the name you are looking for and site:twitter.com – your results will include almost exactly what you're looking for. Example: The Oasis site:twitter.com -
Dude, Dr. P... that tip has proven invaluable (name:twitter.com) ... soooo much easier to find twitter names that way... Thanks :)
