Is there a Snow Leopard version in the works? Because currently GrabUp doesn't work with the latest build (10A394). The preference pane loads (after quitting and restarting in 32-bit mode), however, GrabUp simply doesn't work. The icon is present in the menubar, but that's about all it does. Thanks!
Upgraded to OSX 10.5 and grabup stopped working. It won't start at login (even though that's checked) and it won't run for longer than a minute or so before it stops and I have to start it again. In that minute or so that it is started, screenshots don't take and aren't added to my clipboard.
GrabUp simply... doesn't work. I take a screenshot and it does nothing at all. This is a paid for version.
No "magic" happens whether I use the default settings or an FTP depository I've set aside on my server. When I hit cmd-V to paste anywhere else, I simply end up pasting whatever was in my clipboard before.
If it makes any difference, I use the shortcut ctrl-shift-S to take screenshots. However, I have tried reverting the shortcut to cmd-shift-4, and this has made no difference even after restarting GrabUp.
Please!... add custom keyboard shortcuts. I hate having to turn grabUp on and off because I don't always want a screenshot to be uploaded to the web... i.e. taking screenshots of receipts or other private screenshots [for quick archival purposes]. Thanks!
When I snap a grab, the grabup icon in my top bar (OS X) turns yellow to show it is uploading, then it turns red signifying that the upload failed. In my console log it shows that the upload got a 302 response and copys the URL to my clipboard. The grab works as it should (as if the icon turned green, signifying success) but the red is deceiving.
GrabUp will not upload items - throws "200" error.
From this AM on the east coast, grabup is just throwing a red flag when trying to upload. I get a "200" error in the messages log. I was expecting to see a post on here or on twitter regarding an outage/error of some type, but haven't seen anything. Is it just me or is anyone else having an issue today?
My grabup turns yellow then red and my screenshot doesn't get uploaded. I don't think the upload is timing out since I have a 13ms ping and a 5747kbps upload business class connection.
What could be the problem? Are there any logs I can look through to help debugging?
I just paid for GrabUp pro and am trying to use the FTP. I've tried sending to 2 different servers, and my images simply won't upload to either one. I've checked permissions, etc.
The error message I'm getting is: "Error: Server denied you to change to the given directory"
I know my FTP info is correct - any thoughts on something I could check?
Is there any kind of connection test I can do before spending so much time taking pics to see that they don't upload?
Since yesterday afternoon, everytime I grabup something, this is the link I get: http://elisha.thiswebhost.com/moving....
Also, the links to my previous pictures (I mean, from yesterday morning, not old ones) also leads to a 404 page. But the same link works for my friends. The creepy thing: not even grabup.com loads on my computer, it also leads to this http://elisha.thiswebhost.com/moving....
No clue of what to do here. :(
Help! Must be a poltergeist!
Well, When I share screengrabs with my friends, I sometimes like to add annotations to them. I do this by pausing grabup, taking the screengrab as I would normally, opening it in preview and using the built in annotation tools before un-pausing grabup and taking a screengrab of my annotated screengrab, which is a bit of a pain.
My idea is to automatically open preview with the screengrab and then upload it once it has been saved, which would allow people to add their annotations. The main problem that I can see with this is how to turn this option on and off, after all, the reason most people love grabup is because of how simple and quick it is to use. I don't really have any ideas how to do this, apart from a key combination, but pressing 4 keys with one hand is quite hard, but then again, if its not an often used feature, it might not be that much of a trouble.
