It would be nice if the guys at Grooveshark develop an application in Adobe AIR.

Inappropriate?if you want to run grooveshark grooveshark outside of your browser, you can already use mozilla prism. it will make it appear as if it was a desktop media player :) on my comp it looks like this:

Inappropriate?I made a stand-alone GrooveShark application, GrooveWalrus. And you can thank baby jeebus it doesn't use Adobe Air. Also, I had 1/2 hour to kill while waiting for some muffins to bake so I threw in Last.fm support for fun.Youtube video.

WARNING: GrooveWalrus uses Grooveshark in an inappropriate way, which triggers our attacker detection algorithm, which means searching in Grooveshark (not tinysong) will be broken for you. Results will look correct, but when you try to play it you'll get something else entirely.
I tested GrooveWalrus on my own computer and it caused that to happen to me.
If anyone has a problem with searching on Grooveshark after using GrooveWalrus, please let me know what your IP address is and I will manually unblock you.
GrooveWalrus: If they haven't already, someone will be getting in contact with you soon to talk to you about how you can properly integrate your app with Grooveshark so that users don't end up getting blocked. -
Hmm, well that's funny. He's right. I didn't have any problems last time I checked a week ago maybe, things change I guess.

If you give me your IP I will unblock you so that doesn't happen (though this doesn't prevent you from getting blocked again).
Looking at the history of your project, and the way you guys are doing the embeds, I think the introduction of "Use alternate GrooveShark source." is the culprit. The other way is probably less likely to trigger our attacker detection algorithm, *but* it's still very important to keep in mind that it's not supported by Grooveshark. Hopefully someone will be in touch with you soon to get you going in the right direction (and we do think it's cool that you're doing this, by the way), but in the meantime consider removing "User alternate GrooveShark source." or at least make it not the default. -
Yoinks! Okay, I unset that as default, and put a big warning if you try to enable it. Sorry for any grief that caused.
Also, I have at least one tinysong bug I can throw your way whenever someone sends me an email (putting up a bugs@t in y song. com, might be an idea). -
