Inappropriate?Good afternoon,
I run quite a bit and I have an MP3 player, I was wondering... can I download my playlists (I have created 2 of them) to my MP3 player?
Thank you for your time.
Sincerely, Kat
I’m confused

You cannot at this time. Please checkout amazonmp3 or itunes for that. -
Inappropriate? As far as @ameen's question, make sure your files are correctly tagged before uploading. Grooveshark is working on a better system so stay tuned.
I’m excited

I noticed indeed when there's no album tagged it did not work, used a tag-editor, they can be found on internet (freeware), sometimes it worked, sometimes it did not. I believe other bitrates than the usual (128, 256 etc.) also are not accepted. For that purpose there is also software (no freeware, 30 day trials by my knowledge) -
Inappropriate?Hello all ,Now you can edit tags right in the browser when you want to upload music on grooveshark. Some things to remember while uploading songs,
1)if a song is colored red then you cannot upload that song because it has a bad sampling rate.
2)If your songs have been uploaded successfully but don't show up in your library even after a day or two then maybe that song is already there on grooveshark(try searching for it using artist name or album name instead). -
I'm having the same issue myself, the songs were not colored red, and I was able to upload them successfully. However its now been over a week, those songs are not available on grooveshark and there is nothing listed in my "My Music" area.
I really like grooveshark, I've been contemplating purchasing a VIP account, but if I can't upload music it becomes a bit of a moot point for me. -
Inappropriate?@ Ran Kailie
After too long time, I found my uploaded audios in my list, I didn't do any thing except forgetting the matter.
Thanks to all people who replied.
I appreciated your help -
Inappropriate?Honestly, Grooveshark is starting to suck.
Focusing more on their VIP revenues and not fixing the original product.
Why should any who has the fortunate experience of not being able to upload files be unlucky enough to find their way over to this support thread to be told that there are specific requirements for mp3 files?
What genius figured that not putting that info on the upload menu was a great idea?
Why is this so complicated?
Why not offer a file converter on the site to normalize mp3's to supported bit rates?
How about generating an error message that is actually useful?
GOING BACK TO IMEEM NOW...
I’m DONE WITH THIS SHIT
