Inappropriate?There isn't any API avaliable, currently. I have been asking for one for a few months, but its not exactly a huge priority yet. I think getting working downloads is more important.

Inappropriate?There is an API available, and it has been available for a few months though we've yet to publicly release it. We've been making it available to people as they've asked for it.
