How do we delete a song from a playlist?
We're having trouble finding out how to delete a song from a playlist. We see the red icon, but don't know how it works.

Inappropriate?Sorry I wasn't able to respond sooner.
You can choose your playlist along the right-hand side and then next to the song you want to delete by clicking the red X icon.
The "red X" icon in GrooveShark always symbolizes delete. :)
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I may have specified the wrong product. I'm using Grooveshark Lite. There is no red x icon. When I click the song and drag I see a red (-) circle icon. I have no idea what to do with it to delete songs. I also don't know how to rearrange songs.
Thanks in advance!
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Goto http://beta.grooveshark.com
then follow my instructions above.
Sorry, but as far as I know, you cannot delete songs from a playlist from within Lite, however this would be a neat feature. -
Inappropriate?I didn't know the paid version was so feature laden. And the Lite stuff transitions to the Beta. That worked perfectly. Thanks!
I’m happy, grateful

Inappropriate?paid version? I'm not understanding? and glad that fixed your problem :)

Inappropriate?I meant the Grooveshark vs. Grooveshark Lite. I wasn't aware that there was a Grooveshark beta until today. Duh. Thanks again!

Its fine! Glad I could help! -
Inappropriate?Right now the only way to delete a song from a playlist in Lite would be to empty your queue, drag the playlist onto the queue, drag the song you want to delete off the queue (so now the queue contains only the songs you want to keep on the playlist), then click the save queue icon over on right, choose to overwrite an existing playlist, and overwrite the original.
Not very intuitive I know, but it does allow you to edit a playlist without having to log into beta. Better playlist management in Lite is coming soon. :)
I’m happy

Inappropriate? You're wise beyond your knowledge, James! And well said, Katy--even though better playlist management is coming soon, you're right. And I've put together this brief how-to on adding or deleting songs from playlists: http://www.grooveshark.com/blog/2008/... .
Hopefully this will give a good visual addition to Katy's nice explanation. We love you guys, and let us know if there's anything else you want to see in the site, or from us pertaining to general information/knowledgebase.
You make me so happy.

Inappropriate?I'm not finding a red x anywhere on the page. I'm using Firefox on Mac.
