How to change album art in My Music?
The music I have uploaded does not have any album art displayed. Is there a way I can upload the album art myself?

Hey Guys,
Thanks so much for continuing to help us out, and hopefully I'll be able to shed some light on what's going on with this.
Grooveshark references album art against a third-party database that has (tons of) artwork for artists. Unfortunately, in some cases this database is insufficient (obviously). At this point Grooveshark doesn't actually directly upload the album art from your MP3 files, which accounts for the discrepancy between songs that have album art when played from your hard drive but don't when played from Grooveshark.
Including the ability to directly pull album art from MP3s you guys are uploading is something we definitely want to do, and we're looking at right now. I'll keep you posted on updates to this since--as I said--we really wanna do it!

Inappropriate?Anyone?

Inappropriate? There is no way to upload album art for your uploaded music in the current version of Grooveshark. Stay tuned though :)

Inappropriate?well then why does some of my music show album art and some does not?

you can just choose the music with no art and drag an image from google. YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT AFTER SO CHOOSE WISELY!! -
Inappropriate?Hey Again Tom,
Unless we're experiencing a problem with processing the album art (which is possible), check out what I posted over at http://getsatisfaction.com/grooveshar... .
It's strange that you mentioned *some* of the art showing up, but not other albums. Try double-checking some of the songs you're seeing that don't have album art with the copies on your local library to make sure it's in the ID3 info--and let me know!

Every file I upload has the album art in the ID3 tag. On a seperate note, I've also noticed that not all files I upload are listed in My Music. -
Inappropriate?re: what Tom said....
I am having the same problem.
I've uploaded music taken directly from the CD and the album art does not show up. This has happened for several songs & albums I've uploaded to my library/playlist.
Incidentally, what is "ID3" ?? Where is it, and how do I find it??
I usually play music in my windows media player first, and if the album art shows up there (which it usually does), shouldn't it show up as well in my grooveshark library/playlist when I upload?
