international users perspective
i just came from last.fm since it started discriminating ppl (and i guess many will follow), so i'm wondering can i be sure that the same thing isn't going to happen here as well.
i know that pricing might become inevitable at some point, but it wold be nice to do it in a fair way that doesn't humiliate ppl.

Inappropriate?Hi karl3, and welcome to Grooveshark. :) I'm actually not familiar with what exactly last.fm is doing to their users, and I don't think I'm at liberty to discuss our business model here, but I can assure you that none of our plans involve humiliating our users. :)
We would like to keep the services we currently offer to our users completely free. There may be new services in the future which require subscriptions/purchases/whatever, but our current services should always be free.

Inappropriate?thnx, this answers some question.
btw, last.fm started charging subscription fees for everyone who doesn't live in .uk, .de, and .us, and to make things even "cooler", customers from these 3 countries are getting way better service for free, than the rest of the world would get for 3e per month...
I’m happy
