In the event that I need to cancel the groupon I just bought, is that allowed, or are there no refunds under any circumstances?

You can always cancel the day you sign up. You can do this yourself from the page you bought it from by clicking on "edit pledge". If you need to cancel a Groupon after that it is typically not allowed, but let us know your situation and we'll do what we can.
