Ability to "moderate" DMs sent to grouptweet?
I run a grouptweet that I'm trying to make available to all followers, but sometimes, when a new follower shows up and I follow them back from the grouptweet account, I get an auto-generated DM that ends up going out to the entire group.
Is it at all possible to have a "moderate" option implemented like this:
1. A DM comes from a grouptweet follower.
2. Instead of getting posted right to the grouptweet account, it comes as an email first with a request to approve the message.
3. The reply-to address on the email is encoded with a unique ID that ties it to the forwarded DM. If you reply to the email with no changes, the DM is sent through to appear in the grouptweet stream, i.e., normal grouptweet behavior as it's currently implemented. If you don't reply, the DM never appears in the grouptweet stream.
Just a thought...

Inappropriate?Of course, this would require collection of email addresses, generating and managing a lot of reply-to addresses and message traffic, etc. Unless there's an easier way to do it that I'm not thinking of. Maybe a Web-based interface for approval of DMs?

Inappropriate?I actually think that this is a great idea and definitely worth considering. Thanks for the tip!

Inappropriate? Thanks - looking forward to updates.

Inappropriate?Maybe it's possible to filter the correct DM if it includes some words? which the auto dms probably don't intend to send? e.g Hei group! (will public only dms containing hei group)?. Thanks.

Inappropriate?Just an update - message moderation will be implemented as a premium feature in an upcoming release of GroupTweet.
