Bad Request...I have yet to be able to log in despite several attempts
Why do I get the message..
"Bad Request.The request sent to twitter was invalid, or you may have exceeded the 70 requests per hour limit. Please Note: During times of high load Twitter may reduce this limit to 30 requests"
....when I am just logging on to Hahlo/Twitter for the first time? I've never been able to use Hahlo because I get this message every single time I try to use it.
P.S. This is the second time I've posted this because your system keeps bringing me back here with the form cleared so I don't know if my message went through.

Inappropriate?Liz: The inappropriate link is for people in the community. They use it to flag spam. It's not a comment on your request. It's there so everyone can help spot content that is inappropriate. -

Do you use any other programs/sites etc that are powered by the Twitter API (such as Twitterrific, Twirhl, pockettweets, snitter, Tweetr etc). Twitter have currently reduced the "Request limit" to just 20 per hour, which really hurts when using third party twitter-powered apps. The Request limit goes across all of your twitter usage outside of twitter.com and sms, which may be why you're seeing this error.
That said, I am aware of a few people who, for reasons unknown, still get the "bad request" error even when they are absolutely positive that they haven't exceeded their limit. They have tested via other clients to confirm that their "lockout" is not just through Hahlo but through the other clients as well.
If you get similar problems with other twitter apps then its "just" a Twitter problem and not much I can do about it unfortunately, if you definitely only have problems in Hahlo then we will have to look deeper. -
Inappropriate?Well, I do have Twirhl installed but I rarely use it. Sometimes with Twirhl, it is like Hahlo in that I can post a message but I can't see the messages that are sent to me. I might have had them open at the same time, I can't recall. It very well might be a Twitter problem.
I appreciate your response though and I'll keep trying. I have a number of friends who only use Hahlo and so I was frustrated because I wanted to see what they were raving about! I'll keep at it.
