Why do I keep getting "bad request" errors?
I've been getting nothing but "bad requests" for the past few days, even when I haven't opened Hahlo in many hours. (My Twitter username is samd.)

I constantly have this problem. It's because of Twitter's scaling problems. When Twitter hits a wall, it cuts off service to third-party apps like Hahlo. (Not to be mean, just because it lacks capacity.) As of Jun 13, 2008, roughly 70% of my attempts to use Hahlo end in "bad request." Only about 30% of the time do I actually see my beloved Hahlo interface. SILVER LINING: Even when Hahlo can't access Twitter's content, you can still use Hahlo to post Tweets to Twitter. Which is infinitely preferable to trying to use Twitter Mobile's unbelievably tiny window. You can't have big thoughts in a tiny window. -
Inappropriate?i've been getting this with hahlo now for about a week, on my iPhone and my PowerBook. twitterific was giving the same sort of error but i managed to fix that by resetting my settings. have tried zapping cookies etc but can't seem to shift it.
I’m saddned

Inappropriate?i have also had the "bad request" errors continuously for the past week. i understand the problem may be out of dean's hands and twitter is to blame, but it makes me sad -- i love me some hahlo!!
I’m missing my dear, dear hahlo!

Inappropriate?A potential solution has been found by one Hahlo user. They found that if they didn't log into Twinkle, then they didn't have any problems with Hahlo.
Of course, if you've never run Twinkle this won't help you, but if your a user who has logged in through Twinkle, and then accessed Hahlo and received the "bad request" error, try logging out of twinkle and then try Hahlo again. We seem to think that Twinkle might be doing something in the background (while logged in) thats using up requests, and then thus preventing Hahlo from being useful...
Again, this is only a theory, and may have just all been co-incidence, but the user who reported this too me had been unable to use hahlo for a couple of weeks prior to discovering this. Hopefully it might help a couple of you out. Please let me know if it works for you. (or if it doesn't) -
I never even heard :Twinkle" or "Hahlo" HELP! -
If you've never heard of "Hahlo" it begs the question what relevance this topic has for you to start with. Are you having trouble with Twitter in general? If thats the case I might be able to help, but your best bet would be to try here: http://getsatisfaction.com/twitter -
Inappropriate?Twinkle?

Twinkle is an alternative iPhone Twitter app for jailbroken iPhones, if you're not aware of it then its probably not related to your problem.
