download to computer???
i have kept a gratitude journal for the past three consecutive years (in a journal). i downloaded the app and i'm trying it out before buying another journal for 2009. So far I really love it, but my only concern is that it will be in my phone forever and unless i email it to myself (everyday!!) there is no way to get it from my phone to my computer. is it possible to develop something that will get it in my computer as a document or pdf?

Inappropriate?I feel the exact same way. I think we need a way to create a hard copy as well. So look for it in future releases.
If anyone has suggestions on how to optimize this, I'd love to hear about it.
Thanks for your feedback!
I’m working on this one.

If you look at evernote.com you will see an amazing tool that has downloads for your iphone/touch as well as your computer. Anything entered on one is automatically synced with the other. It's great. Maybe happytapper can do the same with the gratitude journal. (Which I love, BTW.) Thanks. -
Inappropriate?Thank you for pointing this out. I really appreciate the insight because we are looking into trying to add this type of feature.
This really helps. Thanks again!! -
Inappropriate?Yes, I think this should be a top priority.
Something where you are pouring our heart, the best pieces of your life, needs to be 'portable' --the security that you can 'port' the content elsewhere. Even if it was stored on another site I'd be happier about it. As it is, I'm starting to have doubts I want to keep updating the journal.
The other reason is that its a lot easier to enter info on a real keyboard, by having a sync'ed desktop version, one could do that.
Otherwise, I love this app and its been wonderful helping me to focus on the gold parts of my life. And on the hard days, it helps me to reframe/recycle the challenges as opportunities for growth.
Thanks!

Inappropriate?I would love to be able to download my journal entries to my computer and make entries on my computer.
I prefer to have things stored locally on my computer and do not like the idea of having my personal thoughts stored somewhere on another site though.
