Auto-Save and Backup Data
Add an auto-save and backup function to the software. I'm used to Quicken, which has it. Your software does a lot of work quickly, but that means I lost a lot of work when it crashed. I had just saved it ten minutes earlier. That is incredibly frustrating!
If the software made a backup at launch, and auto-saved the file every n (user defined) minutes, I would be in a much better position right now.
Otherwise, I'm impressed so far.

Inappropriate?Yeah, I guess it is frustrating (although it hasn't happened to me yet)... I'll probably schedule this for 1.6, which I should be starting working pretty soon.
I'd be interested in getting the crash report. Was is a soft crash (a window saying "Error Report" with a "Send" and a "Don't Send" button.) or a hard crash (the thing asking you to send it to Apple)? If it was a hard crash, the details of the crash are normally kept in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter. All the files starting with "moneyGuru" are moneyGuru crash reports. If you could send them to support@hardcoded.net, it would be great. -
Inappropriate? This feature has been implemented in moneyGuru 1.6.
