moneyGuru 1.6 hangs (spinning beachball) on File/Import
I just upgraded moneyGuru to version 1.6. My data looks fine, I see the new features - but when I attempt to import transactions using the File/Import menu item, the application becomes unresponsive with a spinning beachball. The hang begins immediately when I select the menu item. No dialog boxes are presented.

Inappropriate?You mean that the hang happens even before the Open File dialog allowing you to pick the file to import is opened?
What version of OS X do you run?

Attempting to "Save As" also hangs.

Strange. I also run Snow Leopard, and I can't reproduce the problem. Have you run pre-1.6 moneyGuru with Snow Leopard before, or did you upgrade to moneyGuru 1.6 straight after upgrading to SL? In other words, does this problem also happen with moneyGuru 1.5.7 on Snow Leopard?

A reboot seems to have solved the problem. I can now save and import. I'll let you know if I run into anything else. Thanks for the prompt response! Great product, by the way. I've happily replaced Quicken with moneyGuru and will tell as many people as I can about it.
