that is merely a list of all the tags processed, not necessarily what they mean. it would be useful to not merely have definitions, but also some cross referencing to similar or differently spelled tags.

You could have something like what urbandictionary does, allowing the community to create their own definitions on-the-fly and a voting system that pushes the most popular definitions to the top of the list.

http://www.hashdictionary.com/ is fine if you know and tag and want a definition. What we're looking for is a relatively complte list of abbreviations used in tags.

Wow . . I'm new to this twitter and I've been trying to figure out what all those letters and pound signs mean. This is a great idea. In fact, I just asked someone if there was some sort of directory that explained what they stood for.

The http://www.hashdictionary.com/ is dependent upon people putting in the definitions like a Wiki. So, this means waiting patiently. You may not find what you are looking for when you go there. However, I recommend people start being part of the solution and add the information that is needed.
