I can't seem to post a project or buy time. Is the site actually functional?

I bought 60 minutes and submitted a task, giving it 30 minutes, which I thought was a reasonable amount of time.

The status simply says "In Progress". I haven't heard anything. I don't think I could use a service for anything important if I have no idea when it will be completed, nor do I even really know if it's been assigned to anyone.

I sent a support question about this but haven't heard back. I sometimes have tasks that include information that must be kept confidential. Is this data secure with HTD? What assurances are there that information will be safe, both on the website and with employees?

I'm looking for everything from programmers to technical writers to people who can do general blog/site maintenance.

My name's Alexander and I live and work in Russia. I was quite impressed by the oppurtunities that outsourcing may bring to your business when read Mr. Friedman's book ;-)
Now, in one year and a half after reading the book, It seems that I realised how to start using it)) I have the first goal. I need to collect information on 1000 manufactures in Europe and China that can be used for producing private label for retail chains in Russia. The output will be a table in Excel format that will include 1000 rows (1 row = 1 manufacturer) and 20 columns (Name of manufacturer, Country, Products that it may produce, e-mail, retails chains that work with it manufacturer, ...). I suppose that all that information may be found in internet.

So... here's my question. How much one hour of your guy will cost to work on this project and if I'm OK with the price what's our next steps?

P.S. I'm even more interested in gathering the information mentioned above on russian manufacturers, but... the guy who do that should speak russian. D'you have Russian-speakers?
