I bought 60 minutes and submitted a task, giving it 30 minutes, which I thought was a reasonable amount of time.
The status simply says "In Progress". I haven't heard anything. I don't think I could use a service for anything important if I have no idea when it will be completed, nor do I even really know if it's been assigned to anyone.

Inappropriate?That would kind of be cheating wouldn't it? I'm excited about the service and am trying to see if it's appropriate for important tasks. I want to be able to submit a task and know that it will happen (or at least be notified if there will be a delay) without having to complain in a public forum :)
I'm really interested in personal outsourcing, but my experience with GetFriday was lackluster.

Inappropriate?Ha! Indeed :) Don't worry- I wasn't going to cheat- just wanted wanted to make sure the task was at least making its way through the system. We're still working out the kinks on the technical side of things, not to mention the human workflow!

I got a response! I have to say, I'm really impressed with the work. I definitely feel like I could use the service regularly for research tasks which didn't require urgent attention. -
