When I try to receive categories from my basecamp account it says "An Error Occured" - What does it mean and how can I fix it?
Many thanks,

Inappropriate?Good question, Benson. We'll have to work on making telegraphs error messages more meaningful.
I've checked our logs and it seems like telegraph is not allowed to access the message categories for the selected project via the provided user account.
In more technical terms the Basecamp API returns a 403 (Forbidden) status code.
Can you check whether the user account has access to the project? -
Hi, thanks for the quick feedback! I've checked it and the user account has access to the project. Do I have to enable acces to message categories somewhere seperatley? -
No - Basecamp doesn't support access restrictions on message categories.
We'll investigate the problem and get back to you. -
Benson, we're not any closer to solving this issue. I've posted the question on the 37signals Basecamp API forum but noone has replied yet.
I'm wondering whether there are any other unusual circumstances that might cause this error. Are there actually any message categories associated with the given project? -
Inappropriate?Hi Kasper, sorry to hear but anyway thank you ver ymuch for your effort.
Do you think it might be cuased by archived projects? There are no message categories associated to the given project - I have removed all message categories now but it's still not working. Funny thing - I have another basecamp account where it's working without any problem (using the same RSS feed).

Inappropriate? The problem isn't caused by archived projects. We have archived projects on our own account and telegraph signup works fine there.
I didn't mean to suggest that deleting all message categories would solve the problem rather that the problem might arise if the project had no message categories.
If you have ensured that API access is allowed (under the Account Upgrade/Billing tab on your Basecamp main page), I'm afraid that there's little else I can do to help you.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Could be that the "http" in the URL should actually be "https". Basecamp usually returns a 403 if you're trying to post to the "wrong" URL, because it tries to re-direct you.
