Inappropriate?Hi Dave,
I'm not really familiar with delicious, but I've created a delicious account to look into it. When you refer to your "protected delicious feed", do you mean bookmarks which are marked as not shared? If so, it seems non-shared bookmarks simply do not show up in your delicious feed, and thus telegraph cannot import them. If you meant something else, please elaborate and I will try to help. :) -
Hey Andreas!
Yes, my bookmarks with a certain tag are protected as I only want members of my team to read them inside of basecamp, rather then the entire delicious world. :)
If it's not possible to import a protected feed, do you have any other suggestions of bringing in links that are protected from the general public but available inside of basecamp?
Thanks! -
Inappropriate? If the delicious RSS feed was password protected, telegraph could easily handle it. However, as far as I can tell, a delicious bookmark is either in the public feed or it's not -- there is no option of a private, password protected feed. As such, either the bookmark will be available to the public (and telegraph) or to neither. Perhaps Dapper (http://www.dapper.net) can extract your protected bookmarks and turn it into a password protected RSS feed, but I'm not sure.
I'm afraid there's no easy way to solve this problem -- sorry. :(
