Hosted version of fixx
Having a hosted service for FIXX would be great too. You guys could really give Fogbugz a run for its money.
Here's some of our requirements of a hosted service solution:
- Easy to upgrade/downgrade between plans as needed.
- Allow for clients to have access to bug system, view their project's tickets, make notes, add new tickets, etc. without increasing cost. (this kills fogbugz for us, as it would be thousands per month).

Inappropriate?A hosted edition of fixx has been certainly in demand. The problem is that we don't want to get into the traditional hosted model where you charge $10 a month and depend on scale.
We are also not huge fans of "plans" although I do see the value there. If we do go hosted, it would be with 1 simple plan.
I would love to hear, for example, what would be your ideal plan for fixx?
The great thing is that client accounts are always free in fixx, even in the downloaded version. For example, the free Single user version allows only 1 regular user but unlimited clients (this just makes sense for freelancers who work with lots of clients).
I would like to hear from our customers what their ideal hosted fixx package would be, and we might make their wishes come true!

Inappropriate?I am coming up with a list of JSP/Tomcat Hosts that will support FIXX and will posyt the list back here. As suggested to Sarat it may smart to work closely with a fee select hosts to setup plans just for FIXX users, as if like us we develop under the LAMP stack, so only need a JSP server for FIXX. WIll keep you all posted

As we discussed offline I had a chat with one of our hosts in the Uk (they have Ulk and US servers) and they would be happy to talk about offering a turnkey special hosting package for fixx.
We have used them for past 5 years and support is great. Will email you detail so you can take it offline with Noah.
He is setting up a special TomCat account for us as we speak, so he may have some Q for you also - will email you now!
