Clients have no way to search issues
Clients cannot see the search box like other users can.
Ideally clients should get the search box too, and when they perform a search it searches only within the projects that they are linked to.

Doh! I forgot about your haxx0r skills Bon. Well, the answer is yes and no. The client search is experimental at this stage. We did not have enough time/test data to verify this in 1.5, so we decided to leave the code in but remove the search box until we can be sure.
However, if you are volunteering to do some testing (given you have some real solid data), that would be really appreciated.
We should have this resolved in 1.6 ideally.

Inappropriate?Hi bon,
I appreciate that when a client has a lot of issues related to their projects, they would like to search the list of issues to drill-down.
However, due to the technology and workflow choices we have made at this moment, it is technically quite tough to restrict search to only client issues.
We will keep an eye on this one and depending on customer feedback, look at if we can plan it in. We are also hoping that a search engine upgrade in 2.0 might make some of these issues easier to deal with. -
Inappropriate?Hi Sarat,
I'm using Fixx 1.5. I noticed that if a client goes directly to a search results URL, for example http://local:9000/issues/?query=hello , they are presented with the correct results that you would expect (ie. results are filtered by projects that they are allowed to view). Does this mean that this search functionality is now implemented and we're just missing a search box for clients? -
