Filter Issues by Area
When browsing the issues for an outstanding items, I need to have them grouped by area so that I can work similar issues at the same time. For example: I have one area called "reports". I want to work on all reporting related issues at the same time.

Inappropriate?You should be able to do this currently in the filtering bit.
Because areas, resolutions and issue types are limited by project, you can access this by first selecting the project in filter. Once you choose a specific project, you get a little "more" link next to the project selection, which should pop-up all the drill-down filters available for that project.

Maybe change the title for the filter to something like 'project (properties)' in stead of just 'project' to make this clear. (won't be an issue once everyone is aware of this option, but might be for new users)1 Comment Add a comment

I agree this needs to be brought out. We are thinking of increasing the emphasis on the "more/less" link to show there is a more to view.
