How does the twitter integration work?
Does the twitter integration send private messages, or is everything public? This is important if you don't want certain bugs, features to appear.

Inappropriate?Twitter notifications work along the following lines,
Firstly, to enable Twitter notifications from fixx, you need to set-up the twitter account details in Admin > General Settings. Once you have this set-up fixx will use that to post out twitter notifications. See http://twitter.com/hedgehoglabfixx for example.
Whether these messages are public or private depends on whether this account is exposed to the public timeline or is private. That's just down to how the account is configured.
Over and above that, when Twitter is enabled, each individual user can go to their "Profile" section and add their Twitter ID. When fixx is sending out notifications and the user has a Twitter ID, it will @reply to them.
Finally, there is no sensitive data at all in the twitter feed due to the 140 char limit. All it shows is change events as shown in the example above.

You need to append this to the answer here (or at least link back to this question): http://help.hedgehoglab.com/fixx/gene... - it's a largely undocumented (but wholly awesome) feature. -
Agreed. The documentation has largely been ignored and need some TLC. We have big plans for it including a major re-write in the coming weeks.
