Modified items on the dashboard very undescriptive (and yet another rant on the dashboard)..
I just changed a bunch estimates on old issues and these came up as followed on the DashBoard
Modified 205 Martijn Laarman an instant ago
Modified 208 Martijn Laarman an instant ago
Modified 210 Martijn Laarman an instant ago

Which is rather undescriptive. I appreciate that doing a diff on the before and after state on an object is a rather painstaking task but if those messages were to be implemented (say "Due date changed, Changed Found In.") it would really kick ass.
The above also kinda proves my reported issues with grouping by project and only seeing the last 5 changes. I also added comments that will now very likely won't be replied to anytime soon since they don't show up on the dashboard nor could i notify folks of the fact i commented. The only way they see it is if they revisit that one issue.
Maybe i think of issues too much as forum posts, if i revisit a forum unvisited or changed threads and posts get highlighted and i get a real sense of activity something the dashboard doesn't provide me.
Also if mass operations were implemented it would really be handy if they came up as 1 action on the dashboard as well.
I'll stop posting about issues i have with the dashboard now i think i got my point across :) I really don't like the dashboard as it is now.

Inappropriate?I take all your points on board Martijn. I don't think you have anything to worry about. We love customers who complain (and I say that without any sarcasm or irony) because they are telling us how to make fixx better.
Without going into detail, we are considering dashboard changes for 2.0 and most of the changes will definitely please you :)
I’m in need of more feedback, positive or negative.

Inappropriate? This is definitely a good month for you Martijn. We have now planned in an improvement to the "Modified" changelogs to do a decent diff on old object state and new object state.

Inappropriate?Hi Martijn,
You'll be glad to know we have implemented some dashboard changes which will relieve your problems with the "Modified" changelogs.
Look out for this in 1.9
