No way to globally browse by tag name
The search function does not search tags.
The issue filtering system does not let you filter by tag.
The only way to browse issues by tag is to first visit a ticket which has that tag and then click on it.

Inappropriate?The search function should definitely search tags. Could you please try again?
There is currently a bug where it only searches "Open" issues, but we are working on that.
As for filtering and navigating by tags, the tag system is getting a decent up-grade and overhaul in version 2, as we could not get the feature into 1.0 -
Inappropriate?Ah-ha, search function does indeed search tags but it only does so after I go to Administration -> General Settings and hit the 'Re-build Search Data' link.

This must be an indexing problem as opposed to search issue. Noted and will be addressed :) -
Inappropriate?An update to this issue to let everyone know that we have a feature planned in for 1.6 to be able to filter issues by tag (as a new criteria).
At the same time, we are also investigating an interface to be able to "browse" issues using tags like delicious.
