The definition of "open" for issues are ambiguous in fixx. Open sometimes means "not resolved" and sometimes it means "closed"
If you click on "All open issues" under Your filters it lists all issues that have not been closed.
If you create your own filter and apply "status = Open" then it lists all issues that have not been resolved.

Inappropriate?FYI there is a discussion around this at http://gsfn.us/t/1irt and I agree, I still have to stop and think about status vs resolution.

Inappropriate?Hi Wilhelm,
Yes I can see how this is confusing as open means different things based on the context it's in.
Your very right about the filters issue. In order to differentiate between the two this is something we've planned to address - when creating a filter for all open issues it should purely mean open and nothing else.
I’m not asking Sarat

Inappropriate?I think on a personal level, to me open means anything that is not closed, so Resolved includes this. However, the overwhelming customer feedback is not to box Resolved issues into Open Issues, and since Damian is the Product Manager now, I believe we are now going to ensure Open does not automatically include Resolved issues :)
I’m happy Damian is not asking me. No point being the Product Manager otherwise ;)

Inappropriate? We have just committed a fix for this so you essentially do not get Resolved issues when viewing the "All Open Issues" filter. Now issues can either be Open, Resolved (with Resolution status) or Closed with each being mutually exclusive.
