Username is case-sensitive
Really tiny issue, but I just created a new account with the username "Si", cos I'm all neat and tidy like that. Then instinct was to log in using "si" and got really confused when it didn't work.
Then to confirm, I created a user with the username "si".
Again, really small issue, just figured I'd log it. In the meantime, I'm changing my username to "si".

Inappropriate?Since usernames are almost treated on a non-semantic basis and as identity strings, we are aware they are case-sensitive.
This is something for us to consider as if we do make it non case-sensitive, we might (in theory) be breaking any older systems with case-sensitive user names. Highly unlikely but is bound to happen when you least expect it!
I reckon we should be able to get away with normalising any new usernames created in fixx 1.8 onwards.
