To help an 80 year old lady get in and out of bed easily.

We have been requested to design and build a special bed that will drop from full height to within 3" of the floor. To do that we need to know the basic dimensions of a queen size bed frame, and we will design the lifting frame to hold the frame. Can you provide the standard length and width? Since we are not concerned with the strength of the bed frame, only the dimensions are important.
