Ability to add/view/manage follows and followers from dashboard.
I would love to see the ability to manage follows and followers from the dashboard. Perhaps even friendorfollow.com like functionality to make sure you're following back? Auto follow-back would be very cool too.

I would REALLY like to be able to create groups through drag-and-drop from at least following list.
agreed that autofollow not necessary.

It is very painful to have to go to twitter.com everytime someone follows you and then check which user you're logged in as... instead if hootsuite managed follows and you could view a snapshot of the person's profile and select which of your accounts you want to follow them with - that would be awesome!

Inappropriate?I like this as well, but would say that priority number one for me, from a usage standpoint, is to be able to see my followers and who I'm following. I really really need to not have to go to the Twitter website to figure out who's following my various accounts.

Inappropriate?Hi Alex and Robi,
We are planning on adding some features in the future that allow you to view/manage the people you follow, and well as view/manage your followers.
Thanks for the feedback.

Sounds good. No autofollow though please! A button to do so would be good though! -
Inappropriate? As someone who’s been using HootSuite for all of one day, this is definitely the most serious “shortcoming” of the product. It’s a shortcoming in the sense that it requires one to use another Twitter or 3rd-party console or application to perform a day-to-day Twitter function, i.e. managing your follow-er/ing relationships.

Inappropriate?@shon,
You can already follow / unfollow from within HootSuite. Check out the Search tab in an account... you'll notice that tweets there have a "follow" button. You can find people talking about things that interest you and follow them quickly from within HootSuite.
But yes... we're planning on adding other features to manage followers. Definitely on our wishlist!

Inappropriate?Hi Tony--
I think you're really going to like some of the changes we're working on right now. Viewing user profiles and following from within HootSuite is about to become much, much easier.
We're also going to be working on a more comprehensive follower/following management solution later.
Stay tuned! -
That sounds great! I’d really like to settle on one Twitter client, i.e. HootSuite, but currently I still need to switch to other utilities for many day-to-day Twitter functions, particularly those relating to followers/following. -
Great news. Thanks! -
Inappropriate?Good luck with it Hoost-suite team!! More features or not, your application is traditional web at its best!!
Sure i'd love to see more features, but keep it simple guys!!
I’m confident

Inappropriate?I like the seeing our followers part, not much of the auto follow back. Nonetheless it would be awesome to see us be able to:
Add a Column to see 'followers', just like how we can add columns for 'direct message', 'search keywords', 'sent' etc..
Thanks.

Inappropriate? Please, for the love all things good, do NOT support auto-follow in future iterations. Auto-follow degrades the quality of relationships and makes Twitter less valuable to the entire community. It's lazy and insincere.
Love the new version, by the way! Now, if only there was a way to assign incoming tweets to editors on your account, I'd totally say buh-bye to CoTweet :)
I’m excited about the new version!

Disagree. I would LOVE to see an auto-follow feature. -
I don't want it either, I don't want to spend hours unfollowing spammers. -
Inappropriate?Hi Matt,
Thanks for your feedback! We do not have any plans to support auto-following at this time. In regards to assigning tweets to editors this is something we've thought about and may do in the future.
Thank you for using HootSuite,

Wunderbar! :) -
Sorry to hear that. I think it would be a great addition -
Inappropriate?I don't mind an auto follow option but I want to be able to turn it off.
-
I agree. Or an auto follow that I can filter. -
Inappropriate?I would settle for just a total number of followers/following like my twitter page has

Inappropriate?I prefer Hootsuite uses up less API limit and make it faster. This function is not a "need."
I think this function will do damages to the Hootsuite. There are many more functions that I'd rather see.

Inappropriate?I would love something like this too... here's what I do at the moment: 1. get an email from Twitter saying that a new person is following. 2. Look at their name, # tweets and whether they lock their updates to see if I can decide not to follow back based on that information. 3. If I think I might want to follow back, go to their Twitter profile and look at their profile description, web link and most recent tweets. 4. If I decide I should follow back, make sure I'm logged in to the right Twitter account before I do!
So if you could incorporate that workflow into HootSuite, I'd be very happy :) Thanks for considering this!
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?I fully agree having Followers and Following links is missing and I would love to see it included.. To me it helps me manage my Twitter account and remove people I don'r want to see any more or I don't want to follow me.
Also the idea of being able to use it to go visit their Profile is a great feature if it were included..
If it weer just like the Twitter.com page that would be great.
I’m confident it will eventually be set up

I fully agree with Steve Currington in this matter.
Looking forward to the implementation of this functionality ASAP.

Inappropriate? Two things I miss the most is to be able to organize followers/following in groups (drag/drop would be great). And notifications about new followers within Hootsuite. Now I receive e-mails from Twitter and have to look them up on the site. Lastly: I would love to be able to search for users within Hootsuite.
I’m bored with waiting
