Don't force us to use ow.ly

We know that ow.ly isn't the best. Why does HootSuite force us to use it?

They say it's for statistics. But for example there's an bit.ly API which lets you get the statistis of your shortened urls. Maybe other URL shortening has the same feature too...

Currently Co-Tweet which is an another Twitter account management tool, use bit.ly API for statistics. I believe HootSuite can do this too.

If ow.ly becomes more popular and more useful in the future, we will be happy to use it. But now it isn't.

We can decide what is best for us, give us some options.

Please don't force us to use ow.ly ;)
