Inappropriate?Hi David--
This is something we've been thinking about. Follow us on Twitter for the latest updates! -
Really, because the service is targeted at companies, you can easily charge for it. We're dying to have this as an app as well... -

Inappropriate?Scheduling is the greatest feature of the Hoot'! Def missing in any iphone app I've tried. You need to get this onto the iphone/ipod ASAP!!
Something quick and easy to use.
Load it up, and I'm entering my tweet.
[Send Now] & [Schedule] for buttons in bottom right.
Simple notification of characters remaining.
Perhaps a live backup option, in case of a crash.
Profile manager, perhaps a small icon/button in bottom left of screen.
Review replies and reply to them would also useful at times.
Cheers! :)
I’m looking forward to it!

Inappropriate?I am amazed that Hootsuite doesn't have an IPhone app....I truly hope we get it pretty soon...

Inappropriate?I tweet from my iphone all the time, this would be a phenomenal app! Please add it soon!

Inappropriate?I'd be happy if I could use HootSuite through the iPhone Safari browser. The trouble I'm seeing is that there is no bottom scroll bar to see additional columns on a tab.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi all--
This is something we're still considering. At the moment we're focused on making HootSuite itself as good as it can be before we shift focus to other platforms. -

I second that. I am currently only using Tweetdeck to sync columns to my iphone but Hootsuite is the ONLY Twitter client I use on a computer. PLEASE make an iphone app. -

Inappropriate?Jeff, just make sure iphone/pod is the first of those platforms, perhaps followed by the Pre. :)

Inappropriate?yes we need hootsuite for iPhone - and make it as good or better than tweetie!!

Inappropriate?I was looking in the App Store for an SMS scheduling app (SMS > Ping.fm > Social networks). Nothing decent at all.
No idea how involved it is (kind of a hybrid that would need an input field, the calendar interface, and a list of scheduled tweets), but BOY is that a need waiting to be filled.
If you are indeed working on it, my suggestion is to keep it simple (focus on scheduling, what the Hootlet does now as your guide) and don't try to be TweetDeck for iPhone (yet!).
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate? There are already SO MANY Twitter clients in the App Store, though!
I'm thinking that if the Web client could be fixed for iPhone Safari, that would be sufficient. But, then, I don't actually have an iPhone. -
Given the fact that you don't have an iPhone, I don't think you realize how handy it would be to have a HootSuite-specific app. TweetDeck for the iPhone is pretty slick, but you can't tie in your HootSuite account at all, and it's a mess to try to go from one window to the next for URL shortening, tweet posting, etc., and then of course you don't really have the analytics. A mobile version of the site could work, but the apps almost always look and function better, probably because they're done more for the iPhone itself, rather than all mobiles, of which most poorly handle the web (with a few exceptions), and so things get designed accordingly. -
My friend who has an iPhone says that HootSuite in the App Store "would be nice". Maybe it would be nice, after all. -
There are SO MANY iPhone Twitter clients, but how many sync your groups from your desktop or webapp? Just Tweetdeck. Having a unified solution is what's needed. I hate having to remake my hootsuite groups in tweetdeck to have them on my iphone. Even if hootsuite could integrate with other Twitter apps, that would be fine. I personally like Twittelator Pro. -
Inappropriate?Regarding groups: Twitter-native "lists" are coming soon. Developers have had to make their own solutions to that need to date. Most apps will likely support that feature soon.
