Mark items as read
It would be nice to delete tweets or mark them as 'read' and then be able to clean up uninteresting stuff out of the columns

Inappropriate?I'm a new user, coming over from Tweetdeck and Nambu. Tweetdeck is unreliable on my Mac, and Nambu crashes regularly, but there is one thing that each does better than HootSuite, and that's marking/clearing new tweets. I need to be able to mark things as read and clear them off my screen when I've read them - manually. The blue balls are fine, but having them disappear whenever the client refreshes (every 2 minutes for me) makes them useless.
HS is a great application so far, and honestly, this is the only complaint I have about it. But if Nambu wasn't crashing 3-4 times a day, I wouldn't be here, simply because of this marking/clearing issue.

Tweets are removeable in the following column types:
'Sent', 'Pending', 'DM Inbox'
We'll look into being able to delete from other columns.

Inappropriate?I totally agree. The lack of this feature, which for me absolutely essential particularly across columns is what keeps me from switching form Tweetdeck to Hootsuite. I need to be able to clear read tweets on per-group basis.
