ow.ly posting old username
When someone clicks on my ow.ly link they get my old old old Twitter username instead of the one shown in all my tweets from HootSuite.
Not only did I change that name for a reason, but any retweets who click on my username can't find me

Inappropriate?Hi Mandi--
When you change your username/avatar on Twitter, you'll also need to change these on HootSuite.
To do so, click on "Settings" then click on "Manage profiles." Click on "edit" next to a Twitter profile to change the username and sync the avatar image.
After you make this change, new ow.ly links you generate will have the correct username.
Hope that helps! -
Inappropriate? Thanks I have tried that multiple times without success. Has there been an update to make it work now? I have posted a link to test it but need to wait until I'm retweeted to see what happens.

Inappropriate?Hi Mandi--
Unfortunately, Twitter is having issues with their search API that are making things difficult.
We rely on Twitter to tell us the original content of the tweet, as well as your username/avatar.
At the moment, the best solution might be to wait a bit until Twitter is more stable, then try posting an ow.ly link again.
Thanks for helping us troubleshoot this.
